Montreal police are asking for the public's help in tracking down a suspect in a violent metro mugging last September.
Police say it happened Sept. 24 at around 10:30 a.m. on board an Azur train as it was pulling into the Pie-IX station on the green line heading towards Honoré-Beaugrand.
The suspect approached the victim who was looking at his cellphone and kicked him in the face, then kicked him three or four more times in the head.

The suspect took the victim's iPhone8 and fled into the metro station.
The victim did not know his attacker.
Police say he tried the same thing with someone else just before the incident but that person avoided being kicked.
The suspect is described as a black man in his 20s, wearing 3/4 cut pants, blue and black Converse sneakers, a white sweater and a black jacket.
Anyone with information can call 911, go to their local police station or call Info-Crime Montréal at 514-393-1133.
