An 88-year-old man was found dead inside a snow-covered car Thursday in LaSalle.
Police were called to 16th Ave. near Centrale St. shortly before 8:00 A.M.
Investigators believe the man may have fallen ill while trying to remove snow from around the car, and sat down inside to take a break shortly before he died.
An autopsy will be needed to confirm the exact cause of death.
