Start off the New Year by learning a new skill! On January 15th, join us for a weaving workshop led by art historian and crafter Shannon Stride.
Shannon enjoys using craft to bring together the diverse threads of her life — her Judaism and her Irish heritage, alongside the myriad places and people that have shaped her. During this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to engage in a weaving lesson. Using frame looms provided, we'll delve into various weaving techniques, crafting our own miniature tapestries. All materials are included.
All levels of experience are welcome! If you have a weaving project that you've started, would like to share, or would like some feedback on, feel free to bring it along with you.
