The Vues d’Afrique International Film Festival aims to raise awareness of the realities and culture of the continent’s countries and the large diasporas, particularly French-speaking ones, to develop exchanges with local audiovisual professionals and thus contribute to the discovery of a little-known aspect of French-speaking cinema and to understanding between communities. For more than 30 years, Vues d’Afrique has been making people travel, discover and love Africa and Creole countries. It contributes to raising awareness of African and Creole cultures, and develops partnerships between Canada and the countries of the South in the field of cultural industries.
