The new year is much like the old for alleged mobster and cocaine importer, Marco Pizzi: once again, he has been targeted by an arsonist, Quebecor media reported Monday.
His car was torched in his driveway overnight, according to the Journal de Montreal.
In the fall, buildings he owned or believed to have been under his control saw fires, deliberately set, three times—twice in under 72 hours in mid-December.
Before that, in August, he barely escaped being murdered during a brazen dayllight attempt on his life while driving in Montreal East.
Pizzi is suspected by police of being a cocaine importer. He was arrested in 2015 and charged with conspiracy, as well as drug trafficking. He is free, awaiting legal proceedings.
