It's going to be a hot and wet start to the week in Montreal.
A heat warning has been issued for the Montreal and surrounding areas, Environment Canada saying humidex values will once again reach 40°C.
"South winds will bring warm moist air from the United States into Southern Quebec on Monday. High temperatures combined with humidity will produce humidex values near 40," the statement read.
Along with the high heat and humidity Monday, Montrealers can expect cloudy skies and a possible thunderstorm in the afternoon.
Umbrellas will surely be needed through the first half of the week as Mother Nature tries to bring some life back to most of the dried up front lawns in Montreal.
The 60 per cent chance of showers predicted for Monday continues through the overnight hours and throughout the day Tuesday.
Environment Canada is calling for showers Wednesday before it clears up for the back half of the week, with temperatures in the high 20s with plenty more sun.
