There's one more weekend of roadwork to prepare for the way things will be in and around the Turcot Interchange for the next two years.
This weekend, westbound traffic will be blocked along the Ville Marie Tunnel and Highway 20, beginning at midnight on Friday.
The closure will begin at Exit 5 for the Bonaventure, and all westbound lanes will be closed until the Mercier Bridge.
Meanwhile, drivers on the Decarie south will only have one available route as the entrances to westbound Highway 20 and the eastbound Ville-Marie will be closed.
All of those lanes are scheduled to reopen by 5 a.m. on Monday.
Once that's all done, driving along the 20 and through the Turcot Interchange will be very different — as the "most disruptive phase" of the Turcot rebuild project gets underway. The Fort and Lucien L'Allier entrances to the westbound Ville Marie will be closed until 2019, because the elevated portion of the highway is being demolished.
Meanwhile, on the Mercier Bridge, one ramp on the south shore side will be under construction on Saturday.
On Saturday, the ramp from Highway 138 to the bridge will be closed from 7:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.
The left-hand lane toward Montreal will also be closed from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. Saturday.
