The man who did time for the 1989 hit and run accident in Sainte Anne de Belleuve that killed Olympic swimmer Victor Davis is back in the news in connection with another death.
Glen Crossley, now 46, turned himself into police on Monday after learning there was a warrant out for his arrest in the death of a man in a bar in Lasalle in September.
Police originally thought 70-year old Albert Arsenault had fallen down the stairs of a bar on Newman Boulevard and sucumbed to a head injury. However, after some prodding from the family, investigators checked into rumours that there had been an altercation in the bar.
The Gazette says that is when the warrant for Crossley was issued on a manslaughter charge. He is expected to be arraigned later today.
