A small section of St. Henri is now under a boil water advisory for at least the next 48 hours.
The problem, it seems, has to do with a piece of the underground water infrastructure along Notre-Dame St. — which could put the drinking water in the area at risk of contamination.
Those on Notre-Dame St. are affected, between Rose-de-Lima and Bourget Sts.
Residents of Workman St. between Rose-de-Lima and Notre-Dame are also affected, as are those living on a block south of Notre-Dame, between Bourget and Rose-de-Lima Sts., as far south as Ste-Emilie St.
Everyone in those areas are being asked to boil their drinking water for at least a minute before consuming it.
Tests will be conducted on water samples over the next two days to determine if there's been any contamination.
