The all-clear was issued on Monday morning, after the advisory was issued Saturday. An earlier story follows.
The city of Brossard has issued a boil-water advisory that covers the entirety of the city's territory.
In a statement released this afternoon, the city said that the measure was preventative after laboratory test results indicated the presence of fecal coliforms in the water system. It is recommended that those on the south shore boil their water for at least a minute before consuming it until furhter notice.
Other activities using water, such as cleaning dishes or taking a shower in hot water, are fine to do during a boil-water advisory.
