The new Canal Station on the AMT's Candiac rail line is open this morning.
The $10 million dollar station features 150 parking spots, two carpool places and and 14 bike racks.
The station was built to help alleviate traffic congestion associated with the rebuild of the Turcot Interchange.
The station is located on St. Joseph west of the St. Pierre
Interchange.
