Habs goaltender Carey Price may have more than the flu to worry about.
The company in Drummondville that makes the composite for his goaltending sticks is close to bankruptcy. La Presse reports that the papers could be filed in a matter of days.
ACM Composites has warned its 75 employees that production is being halted.
ACM supplies the composite to stick manufacturer CCM-Reebok and that firm is alarmed by word of the impending bankrupcty. It is hoping production can be extended long enough to ensure Price and half a dozen other NHL goalies who use CCM-Reebok products will have enough sticks to get them through the coming months.
