Gifts have been opened, family dinners have been eaten and a New Year is upon us... It's time to get rid of your Christmas tree.
If you live in one of Montreal's boroughs you can find out when natural Christmas tree collections will be held in your area by visiting the city's Info-collectes or by calling the 3-1-1 information hotline.
To have your tree collected it must be on the curb by 7:00 A.M. the day of collection and have all its ornaments removed.
If you miss the collection dates you can also drop off your tree at any of the city's seven Eco-Centres.
For those living outside Montreal
Dorval: January 10 and 17. Trees must be placed in front of your home, by the curb (not on the street) with all lights, decorations, and nails removed.
