We're learning more about the suspected shooter in Friday's deadly rampage at the airport in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
According to his brother, Esteban Santiago was reportedly receiving psychological treatment recently.
Bryan Santiago said that he didn't know what his brother was being treated for and that they never talked about it over the telephone.
As well, there's word the 26-year old received a general discharge from the Alaska Army National Guard last year for unsatisfactory performance.
CBS News reports two months ago, Santiago went to an FBI office in Anchorage claiming his mind was being controlled by the CIA and the US government and that he was being forced to watch ISIS videos.
"Anchorage police, in a follow up to that FBI encounter, later sent Santiago to a hospital for a psychiatric evaluation", said CBS News correspndent Josh Elliot.
Authorities said the New Jersey native, who was taken into custody, used a legally-checked weapon to open fire in a baggage claim area.
Five people were killed and eight were injured in the tragedy.
It's legal for airline passengers to carry guns and ammunition as long as the firearms are put in a checked bag, not in a carry-on, and are unloaded and locked in a hard-sided container.
Guns must be declared to the airline at check-in.
