Quebec's health ministry has increased the death toll from last week's brutal heat wave.
On Monday, it said 70 Quebecers died as a result of the record-breaking heat.
That's up from 54 deaths on Friday, the day the heat wave finally broke.
The vast majority of those deaths, 34 of them, came in Montreal, with another nine deaths in the Townships, and nine others in the Montérégie region.
