The Willow Inn, a mainstay on Main St. in Hudson for nearly 200 years, may come back to life again sometime this year.
The iconic restaurant and bar closed last October, but at a town council meeting on Monday night, it was announced the building has new owners.
They're a couple from Town of Mount Royal, David Ades and Patricia Wenzel, and their intention is to relaunch the restaurant — once they carry out renovations.
But Wenzel says there's no set time frame for that — though they hope it will happen sometime before the end of 2017.
"We have plans as to what we want to do," Wenzel told CJAD 800 News. "We are formulating exactly what we want to do."
The building which houses the Willow was originally built as a private home in 1820. It was destroyed by fire in the late 1980s, and then rebuilt.
