An Internet TV service called Cielo 4K is in hot water after being accused of pirating from Bell and Videotron.
The two companies started their own investigation when they found evidence their services were being stolen, and redistributed.
"We received a complaint from the cable companies who had noticed their services were being stolen," said RCMP spokesperson Camille Habel, who says the officers conducted a series of raids at the homes of people thought to be involved in the piracy.
They also seized around 150 computers and other tech equipment.
"They were looking for anything that would prove that they were redistributing the cable," Habel said. "A lot of that evidence is still being analyzed, a lot of computer evidence."
Thus far, no charges have been laid. The investigation is ongoing.
