The Jean Lapointe Foundation is launching a 28-day no alcohol challenge to raise money.
The challenge will begin on February 1, their goal is to get 10,000 participants.
A symbolic $28 donation is required.
The money will go towards prevention workshops in Quebec high schools about the risks of alcohol, cannabis, and other drugs.
"The workshops on addiction prevention make a difference in the lives of high-school kids and that’s why we’re back stronger than ever with an entertaining and engaging platform," Annie Papageorgiou, Executive Director of Fondation Jean Lapointe, said in a press release.
As of Sunday morning, they've raised over $125,000 of their $500,000 goal.
Since 2008, the foundation has reached over 492,000 teens.
