Police will be out in Longueuil on Thursday after getting new information about the 2014 disappearance of a woman and her baby.
The Longueuil police force's big command post truck will be out at the corner of Stravinski Ave. and Sabourin Cres. in Brossard from 8:30 in the morning to 6 in the evening.
Jian Ping Li was 42 years old, when she and her 6-month-old son, Xian Feng Lu, disappeared on April 30, 2014.
They had been reported missing by the woman's husband, who left the family home that morning and when he returned, found no trace of his wife and son.
She had apparently left her identification, money and other personal effects behind — including her son's baby stroller.
In the years since they disappeared, hundreds of tips have come into the Longueuil police department — but none have led to police clearing up the mystery surrounding their disappearance.
