Montreal landmark has been sold

The Radio-Canada building on Rene Levesque has been sold.

The development company Groupe Mach has bought it, but the price wasn't clear.

Radio-Canada and the CBC will eventually move into a new building to be built in its current parking lot at the corner of Rene-Levesque and Papineau. 

It's not clear what'll happen to the 24-storey tower they're currently in.

There's word real estate developer Broccolini will build the new structure, that CBC/Radio-Canada will be a tenant under a 30-year lease.
