The public is being asked to help decide the design of the new Réseau Express Metropolitain trains.
Three designs have been proposed for the new Alsom Metropolis units. The French-made traincar model was selected over proposals from Bombardier and Siemens earlier this year, and are already in use elsewhere in the world on the metro systems of São Paulo, Amsterdam and Buenos Aires.
Each paintjob under consideration features a combination of the network's white, green and chartreuse colours. The REM says the designs draw inspiration from the Saint Lawrence River, Mount Royal and Expo '67.

Montrealers can give feedback on the proposed train designs on the REM's website until the 22nd of July.
The new rapid-transit network that will connect the South and North Shores, West Island and Trudeau Airport with the downtown core is expected to begin carrying passengers in the summer of 2021.
