The city of Montreal and Town of Mount Royal will resume negotiations Thursday to give people living in the Glenmount area of Cote des Neiges, north of jean Talon Boulevard, access to recreational services.
For some three decades, Montreal has paid TMR tens of thousands of dollars each year - so the 1800 Glenmount residents can access a nearby library and arena.
The agreement expires this month and the city of Montreal wants to drastically cut the price it pays for those services to $20,000.
TMR has offered to reduce the rate to $60,000.
