A 60 year old man already facing charges of interfering with a dead body has now been charged with manslaughter.
Richard Dufresne was initially arrested in October after the body of a woman was found under a tarp on Beaudry Street near Sherbrooke on October 23rd.
At the time, authorities did not consider the death a murder, but that has since changed.
Dufresne appeared in court Friday to face new charges of manslaughter. Police now believe he killed the woman and then moved her body.
