PQ leader Jean-Francois Lisée has chosen his shadow cabinet.
He chose his inner circle on the same day he met with his caucus a week after he was elected leader.
Among other things, Pascal Berubé is now PQ House leader, meaning Lisée's second in command.
"As for the MNA's who ran against Lisée, Alexandre Coutier will stay on as education critic. Martine Oullette will be the critic for culture and communication, the dital economy and the taxi industry. Now that Lisée has chosen his shadow cabinet cabinet, he has to unite the caucus on issues that created division during the leadership race. He's still calling for a debate on muslim face coverings in public spaces", reported CTV's Maya Johnson.
Among other things, Lisée is citing security reasons as well as gender equality for the debate.
The PQ caucus will meet on Sunday in Victoriaville to prepare their strategy for the return to the National Assembly next Tuesday.
