More bad news for US President Donald Trump after his claim that the White House tapped phones at Trump Tower.
The U-S Senate Intelligence Committee's top two members said there's no indication the American government spied on the well-known New York City skyscraper before or during the election.
They said there's no sign Trump Tower was "the subject of surveillance.''
Earlier this month, Trump tweeted former President Barack Obama had Trump Tower phones bugged.
Despite a growing bipartisan list of lawmakers who have publicly disputed the allegation, Press Scretary Sean Spicer said the president stands by the claim.
