The answer is no and the strike at the Old Port of Montreal will continue.
The union says 300 workers have rejected the latest contract offer.
The union accepted the offer after bargaining with a mediator.
The deal apparently called for a 12-per-cent pay hike over five years, as well as the creation of a joint committee “to analyze the overall compensation of unionized jobs as compared to the market.”
Union says the union bargaining committee is ready to meet with the employer.
