In an interview with the Gazette this morning, Evenko's Vice President of Concerts & Events revealed that he expects Osheaga to sell out before the annual music festival at Parc Jean-Drapeau gets underway in a week. Though he didn't reveal numbers, he suggested that the festival is expected to hit capacity in a matter of days.
Nick Farkas said that one-day passes were expected to sell out first for Sunday's performance, featuring Florence & the Machine, followed by the performances on Friday and Saturday. Three-day passes to the full festival sold out last week.
Last year's edition, which saw heavy interruptions due to inclement weather, marked the first time since 2012 that Osheaga had not sold out.
