Longueuil police have released security camera images of a man they describe as a "important witness" in a murder case and are asking for help from the public in tracking him down.

An 18 year old man was shot and killed during an argument outside a fast food restaurant near Sainte-Foy Boulevard and Grant Street in Longueuil Sunday night.
The witness is described as a man of Arab origin, with long dark hair tied in a pony tail, about six feet tall and weighing about 150 pounds.
He was carrying a black sports bag and was wearing blue jeans and a black hoodie.

In a statement Longueuil police say all information received will be treated confidentially.
