A Quebec billionaire is fighting with the tax man.
Guy Laliberté, who co-founded the Cirque De Soleil, is one of four property owners in St Bruno hoping for a lower tax bill.
Laliberté owns a home in the heart of a national park valued at over $5,500,000.
According to the Journal de Montreal, Laliberté says the evaluation should more than a million dollars lower, which would save him over $6,500 a year in taxes.
The tax bill for 2017 works out to just under $35,000.
Longueil says the higher figure is justified because of what's described as the exceptional character of the area.
