A joint consultation between the Societe Assurance Automobile du Quebec along with the provincial transport ministry on road safety in the province will begin in the coming days.
They will focus on four major points, including asking the public which areas of the province have issues with road safety. The consultations will also center on determining who should play a role in road safety aside from the Quebec government, as well as what measures should be put in place to bring down the number of accidents across the province.
Those who are interested in taking part can do so by visiting the SAAQ's website and filling out the online questionnaire, which will be made available as of Monday.
There is also information on how to participate in the public consultation sessions that will be held throughout Quebec. There will be two days of consultations in Montreal on February 27th and 28th.
