The Sherbrooke Historical Society has signed on to a project creating a weed museum at a cannabis production facility to be build in the nearby town of Weedon.
The medicinal marijuana grow-op owned by MYM Nutraceuticals will feature 1.5 million square feet of production space.
The concept of the attached CannaCentre museum will be developed by the Historical Society.
In a statement, the Historical Society says it will be an interesting challenge to come up with ideas of an educational, cultural and tourism nature.
It also thinks the weed museum will be an economic boon to a region that is in need of help.
