Three people were rushed to hospital after a home in Mirabel exploded early Friday morning.
Police were called to the house on Saint-Michel St. shortly after 4:15 A.M. after neighbours heard a number of explosions.
Two of the victims, men in their 20s, were in the basement when the explosion occurred. They suffered serious burns and were taken to Montreal's burn centre for treatment. They remain in critical condition.
A woman in her 20s was on the first floor of the home. She was less severely injured and taken to St. Jerome Hospital.
Investigators have not yet determined the cause of the blast.
