TMR mayor reelected by acclamation

Philippe Roy has been reelected mayor of Town of Mount Royal. 

Philippe Roy has been re-elected mayor of Town of Mount Royal. 

He's won by acclamation.

The period for filing nomination papers ended Friday afternoon at 4:30.

Roy begins his third consecutive term as mayor.

As well, he'll hold onto a seat on the Montreal Agglomeration Council, being the mayor of one of the 15 reconstituted municipalities.
