Carrie Fisher is dead.
The actress, who found enduring fame as Princess Leia in the ``Star Wars'' movies, died after suffering what's been described as a massive heart attack during a fight from London to LA on Friday.
She was 60.
Fisher's daughter, Billie Lourd, released a statement saying Fisher died today, and that her mother was "loved by the world and she will be missed profoundly.''
