It was a bright spot for some Laval residents in an otherwise depressing and dreary day punctuated by ongoing black-outs and more snow.
Peter Frantzeskos snapped this photo of a wild turkey roaming the streets right after heavy, wet snow blanketed the region Tuesday.
The turkey was spotted at the intersection of rue Bertin and Jacques-Plante in the Chomedey district.
Wild turkeys are becoming increasingly common in the southern part of the province.
The birds pose no problem and should be left alone.
