The tennis stadium on the fringes of Jarry Park in the city's north end got a new name on Monday — IGA Stadium.
Tennis Canada announced a change in the name of the stadium's title sponsor, from Uniprix to IGA.
Terms of the "long-term" partnership signed between the grocery group and Tennis Canada were not disclosed.
The 8,000-seat tennis park, built from the remants of the Expos' old home park, was inaugurated in 1996 as DuMaurier Stadium, and then changed to Uniprix Stadium in 2004.
