The snowfall hitting Montreal during the overnight hours is already being felt on the roads across the region. It now seems likely that it'll be felt on the runways, too, now that Trudeau Airport has opened for the day.
As of 7:15am, 35 scheduled flights in and out of Quebec's busiest airport have been cancelled. A further 37 are delayed -- many of them significantly. Some impacted flights weren't originally scheduled to leave or arrive to Montreal until well past lunchtime.
Air Canada has waived its usual change fees for travellers flying out of Central Canadian airports, including Montreal-Trudeau, through tomorrow.
