Cleanup of the freight train derailment in Saint-Polycarpe, in the Montérégie area is expected to take at least one week.
More than 20 of the train's cars jump the tracks just before 7:00 P.M. Monday, with the majority landing in a farm field, but some landed in a river.
The good news, none of the cars carrying dangerous fuel (propane and diesel) sprung a leak. The only spill came from a car carrying vegetable oil.
Resident Pascal Marchaud used a drone to survey the aftermath.
