Police in Laval are asking for the public's help in locating a man who was caught on video punching a 46-year-old man early on Monday evening, leaving the victim in hospital in critical condition.
The attack took place outside 541 Cure-Labelle Blvd. in Chomedey. The video shows a man charging up to where he was standing, and sucker punching him. The suspect quickly fled as the victim crumpled to the ground.
The suspect police are looking for is white, about 25 to 30 years old. He's six feet tall, weighs 230 pounds, with short reddish-brown hair and a beard that's at least a few days old.
At the time of the attack, he was wearing a black t-shirt with the logo MFC written in white, along with black cargo pants and black-and-white sneakers.
Anyone with information on the suspect is being asked to call police at 450-662-INFO (4636) or 911, and to mention the case number LVL 180709 072.
