A major fire destroyed several new developments in Saint-Lazare early Wednesday morning.
The first calls came in to 9-1-1 at about 2:30 A.M.
Firefighters rushed to the scene on des Chenilles St. The intense flames spread quickly and forced a general alarm to be called shortly after.
In all, four homes under construction were destroyed, two others were damaged.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
