Montreal police ended their operation at three buildings at Concordia University on Wednesday afternoon, hours after the institution received bomb threats from a group which targeted Muslim students.
The Henry F. Hall building, the EV (Engineering and Visual Arts) building, and the GM building (on the corner of Guy and De Maisonneuve), were evacuated Wednesday morning because of the threats.
Classes were cancelled in those buildings for the entire afternoon. Classes will resume at 6 p.m.
A letter was sent to Concordia, and to the media, listing a series of complaints against Muslim students at Concordia, and theatening that one bomb per day would go off until Friday at one of the buildings. The threat suggested it had no intention to kill Muslims, but did intend to cause injury.
It also contained the line, "Now that President Trump is in office south of the border, things have changed."
