Montreal firefighters had to be called in this morning for a rescue operation at a condo construction site where a man scaled a fence and fell 20 meters into a hole.
The operation began at around 7 a.m. at the corner of Peel and Wellington.
The man suffered injuries to his legs and pelvis. His life is not in danger.

Firefighters had to use a hook-and-ladder truck and pulleys to get him out.
Police will investigate to see why the man was there in the first place.
