It was an unusual encounter for provincial police in northern Quebec last week.
They were on patrol on June 26 when the officers from the Chapais-Chibougamau station ran into a bear on Route 167 in the Ashuapmushuan game reserve.
And just when they thought the bear would just go away, the furry animal decided to hang around by walk onto the cruiser's hood and wouldn't budge.
It took a trucker blowng his horn to scare off the animal.
Provincial police said they hope the incident reminds drivers to be careful while travelling and to keep an eye out for wild animals.
