While it may not have been the star-studded spectacle seen at the Bell Centre earlier this week, Montrealers and music fans still gathered to honour local poet and songwriter Leonard Cohen.
The Société de transport de Montréal (STM) organized a pop up karaoke concert at the Place-des-Arts Metro station.
From about two and a half hours fans gathered to sing some of Cohen's classics and as regular commuters passed by not entirely sure of what was going on, the ever growing crowd smiled and sang along.
Cohen died on November 7, 2016.
On Monday, music legends such as Sting, Elvis Costello, Feist and k.d lang performed at the Bell Centre as part of "Tower of Song," a tribute concert organized by Cohen's son Adam.
