It's the weekend and the start of the construction holidays so there's no road closures!
Psych.
Road closures don't take time off, so there will be areas you should surely avoid this weekend if you plan on getting around or out of town.
Once again Highway 15 north will be closed from Exit 63 (HW20 West/Toronto) to the Édouard-Montpetit entrance. However this week the complete closure only starts Saturday at 7:00 A.M. but still lasts until 5:00 A.M. on Monday.
Work in the Turcot Interchange and Decarie area will close the following ramps from Friday at 11:59 P.M. to Monday to 5:00 A.M.
As of 10:00 P.M. Friday until 5:00 A.M. Monday, Notre Dame St. underneath Highway 15 will also be closed.
Work being done by Hydro-Quebec will shut down the Atwater Exit (61) and entrance on the northbound 15 for the weekend.
The Victoria Bridge will be off limits in the Montreal direction, also from Saturday at 7:00 A.M. until 5:00 A.M. on Monday.
You're invited to use the Jacques Cartier and Champlain bridges instead, but you should probably avoid the Mercier Bridge, because, well, you know.
On the South Shore work on the Champlain Bridge will force the closure of Route 132 east and west between Exit 53 (eastbound side) and Exit 75 (westbound side) and their next entrance from 10:00 P.M. Friday until 5:00 A.M. Monday.
Don't forget the Jacques-Cartier Bridge will be closed in both directions Saturday night for the fireworks at La Ronde.
