Not only was there change in Montreal's election, but there are some new faces joining the municipal ranks in some of the Island's demerged cities.
In Pointe-Claire John Belvedere was elected the new Mayor with 60 per cent of the vote, doubling his opponent in second place. Joining Belvedere at Pointe-Claire City Hall will be:

In Dollard-des-Ormeaux Alex Bottausci defeated outgoing Mayor Edward Janiszewski with just over 50 per cent of the vote. Bottausci will be joined by some new comers on the municipal council as well:

In Dorval not much changed by the time all the votes were counted, only two seats changed hands. Mayor Edgar Rouleau was easily re-elected with 71 per cent of the vote. Joining Rouleaau will be:

In Kirkland only four seats on the municipal council were being challenged, as the other seats were all elected by acclamation earlier. The new comers in Kirkland are:

In Beaconsfield Mayor Georges Bourelle kept his seat with 63 per cent of the vote, nearly doubling his closest opponent. The races for councillor seats were both closer, and further apart. Joining Bourelle will be:

The results in Baie-D'Urfe were among the last to come in. Well all the votes were counter Mayor Maria Tutino held on with 56 per cent of the vote. Joining the Mayor will be:

There will be only two new faces at Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue's next city council meeting. Mayor Paola Hawa held her position with 53 per cent support. Joining her will be:

Out in Senneville almost 70 per cent of registered electors voted for Mayor, with 48 per cent choosing to re-elect Julie Brisebois. All seats for city councillors had been elected by acclamation earlier.
